Zero Comics is the creative team of Chris Bell and Bill Giancoli. Zero Comics began one Friday night in an Elk's lodge.  Neither Chris nor Bill are members of this noble order, but they do enjoy cheap beer and comics.  It just so happened that the  Elk's lodge had cheap beer and was hosting a small comic convention that fateful October evening.  Chris and Bill got to talking and discovered they both had a desire to create comics.  However, Chris didn't like writing, and Bill couldn't draw.  Maybe it was the beer talking, but if they could combine their talents, they just might be able to pull this thing off.   Bill would write the stories and Chris would draw the images.  GENIUS!  The result is a combination of quirky, sardonic humor brought to life by beautifully stylized art.

Artist Chris Bell

Basic addition and subtraction, formulating coherent sentences, not offending people with stupid comments are all things Chris Bell sucks at. Drawing? He's pretty good.

He received his Bachelor's degree in Art and Master's degree in Education from Elmira College. Chris began his professional illustration career working in journalism. This prepared him to be versatile with projects and to be deadline oriented. Chris has been recognized by the Associated Press for his artwork in the field of journalism (2001.) He has worked professionally in Graphic Design, Illustration and Web/Print Publications. Chris is currently an Art Teacher at Horseheads Intermediate School where he helps develop the skills of future artists.

Writer Bill Giancoli

Growing up, many of Bill's teachers described him as an underachieving day dreamer with an affinity for spinning outlandish tall tales.  An eternal optimist, with no desire to do manual labor, Bill took those teacher's comments and decided to turn them into a passionate hobby.

Bill Giancoli has had a wealth of experience writing, directing, and producing for film, stage, and online content. Some of Bill's work includes the "Slazberg Drama," "Unabashed," "Love, Lava, and Middle School Drama," and "Project: Inhibition."  He has produced a number of video shorts, and is currently the co-host and producer of the "Podcast of Oa."  Bill would describe his writing as thoughtfully quirky.

Bill currently lives in Horseheads, NY with his wife, and two children. Bill is excited to be working with the very talented Chris Bell.
